Tis that time of the week, people. Not only is it the Day When Constance Is Required to Pick Up My Dry Cleaning and Also Dust the Windowsills While Singing “I am a Little Teapot” in an E minor, but also the day when I name our Taylor Gourmet sammichpants winners (serious noms, I sampled some of the new breakfast fare on Wednesday, and I can contend that I would genuinely take a bath in the risotto ball cheese sauce), but also…SONGS.
Lots and lots of jams and music and songbirds to get you through the holiday weekend. Preemptive Gatorade, people.
In the music world, Blue Ivy Carter (possible Illuminati) is the youngest person to make the Billboard Chart. Her cries were sampled for Jay Z.’s new track, “Glory”. Watch for B. I. C.’s debut album in 2019, entitled It’s So Awkward How Much Hotter My Mom Is Than Yours.

Having an extra day to play will give you an extra night to make some poor life decisions (from here on out known as PLDs)… you know what we mean. It’s okay, we’ve all been there. We’ve all woken up with new phone numbers (with names like “Ferdinannd – BARRRRR”) in our phones and half-eaten PB&Js in our hands.
We think PLDs are character-building.
And if you don’t have Monday off, make the best of what you do have this weekend, and try to get all of your PLDs in by Sunday.
These jams are an excellent accompaniment to promoting any PLDs you may or may not make… so listen to them as you nurse your hangovers and recount the night’s PLDs and escapades with your besties at brunch (bonus of three-day weekends — three days of brunch. God bless the Bloody Mary.)”
